Mac ’n Cheese with ERU Spreadable Gouda

Ingredients
- 10.5 oz ERU Spreadable Gouda
- 11 oz macaroni
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 medium onion
- 2 oz butter
- ¼ cup of flour
- 2 1/2 cups
- ½ oz nutmeg
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Olive oil

Preparation| 10 min
- Heat the oven to 180 degrees and cook the macaroni as indicated on the package.
- Drain and place the macaroni in a large baking dish.
- Chop the onion and fi nely press the garlic.
Prepare| 30 min
- Heat the olive oil in the frying pan, fry the onion and garlic and add the ham cubes after 3 minutes.
- Stir everything together, let it cook for another 2 minutes on low heat and add to the macaroni.
- Heat the butter in a saucepan, when the butter has melted, add the flour and cook for 5 minutes.
- Beat in the milk with a whisk and stir until you have a nice smooth sauce. Season the sauce with nutmeg, salt and pepper, add the ERU Spreadable Gouda and stir until it all melts together. Mix the sauce with the macaroni.
- Garnish the Mac ’n Cheese with extra ERU Spreadable Gouda. Put the Mac ’n Cheese in the preheated oven for about 15 to 20 minutes.
