Club Sandwich with ERU Maasdammer

This classic club sandwich contains three slices of lightly toasted white bread with egg, tomato, bacon, lettuce and ERU Maasdammer. Serve the sandwich as an extensive lunch with fries, salad or chips.

Ingredients

  • 100 grams ERU Maasdammer
  • 8 slices of white bread
  • 1 bag of iceberg lettuce
  • 250 grams bacon, fried and drained
  • 3 tomatoes, sliced
  • 3 boiled eggs, sliced

  • 4 meat skewers

Method| 10 min

  • Toast the bread slices after removing their crusts.
  • Spread ERU Maasdammer on one side of each slice of the toasted bread.
  • Garnish 2 slices with iceberg lettuce, a slice of tomato, sliced egg and bacon. Top each of these with a second slice of bread and garnish these once again with lettuce, tomato, egg and bacon. Repeat a third time.
  • Cover the stacks with the last two slices of bread.
  • Using a sharp knife, slice the stacks diagonally in half and fasten each sandwich with a skewer.
