Turkish bread with grilled tomato and mortadella

This luxurious Turkish bread sandwich with mortadella has a surprising Mediterranean flavour of olives and tomatoes. Delicious for lunch or with a high tea.

Ingredients

  • 4 roma tomatoes
  • ½ Turkish bread
  • 100 grams ERU Balans Tomato and Olive
  • 200 grams mortadella
  • 20 grams rocket cress
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Preparation| 10 min

  • Thickly slice the tomatoes.
  • Spread the slices with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  • Heat a grill pan and grill the tomatoes until there are nice stripes on both sides.
  • Halve the Turkish bread lengthwise and halve both pieces.

  • Divide the grilled tomato over the bread.
  • Then top with the mortadella and garnish with rocket cress.
