Fresh wholemeal toast with egg

Start your day well with this fresh wholemeal toast. This quick recipe with a boiled egg is delicious for breakfast or lunch.

Ingredients

  • 4 slices of wholemeal bread
  • 8 quail eggs
  • ½ cucumber
  • 100 grams salad leaves
  • 150 grams ERU Gouda Naturel
  • 10 sprigs chervil

Preparation| 10 min

  • Toast the bread in a toaster until golden brown.
  • Bring the water to the boil.
  • Boil the quail’s eggs for around 6 minutes and then leave to cool in the water.
  • Halve the cucumber and remove the seeds.
  • Wash the salad leaves.

Method| 5 min

  • Slice the cucumber.
  • Spread the toast with ERU Gouda Naturel.
  • Peel the quail eggs and halve them.
  • Top the toast with cucumber, salad leaves and quail eggs.
  • Garnish with sprigs of fresh chervil.
