Fresh wholemeal toast with egg
Start your day well with this fresh wholemeal toast. This quick recipe with a boiled egg is delicious for breakfast or lunch.

Ingredients
- 4 slices of wholemeal bread
- 8 quail eggs
- ½ cucumber
- 100 grams salad leaves
- 150 grams ERU Goudkuipje
- 10 sprigs chervil
Preparation| 10 min
- Toast the bread in a toaster until golden brown.
- Bring the water to the boil.
- Boil the quail’s eggs for around 6 minutes and then leave to cool in the water.
- Halve the cucumber and remove the seeds.
- Wash the salad leaves.
Method| 5 min
- Slice the cucumber.
- Spread the toast with ERU Goudkuipje.
- Peel the quail eggs and halve them.
- Top the toast with cucumber, salad leaves and quail eggs.
- Garnish with sprigs of fresh chervil.
