Fresh wholemeal toast with egg
Start your day well with this fresh wholemeal toast. This quick recipe with a boiled egg is delicious for breakfast or lunch.

Ingredients
- 4 slices of wholemeal bread
- 5.3 oz ERU Spreadable Gouda
- 3.5 oz herb salad
- 10 sprigs of chervil
- 8 quail’s eggs
- ½ cucumber
Preparation| 10 min
- Toast the bread in a toaster.
- Cut the cucumber in half and remove the seeds, then cut it into slices.
- Wash the salad and drain well
- Bring some water to the boil, add the quail’s eggs and turn off the heat
- Leave the eggs to cool in the water for a while.
Prepare| 5 min
- Spread the bread with ERU Spreadable Gouda.
- Peel the quail’s eggs and halve them.
- Arrange the cucumber, salad and quail’s eggs on the bread.
- Garnish with fresh chervil.
