Fresh wholemeal toast with egg

Start your day well with this fresh wholemeal toast. This quick recipe with a boiled egg is delicious for breakfast or lunch.

Ingredients

  • 4 slices of wholemeal bread
  • 5.3 oz ERU Spreadable Gouda
  • 3.5 oz herb salad
  • 10 sprigs of chervil
  • 8 quail’s eggs
  • ½ cucumber

Preparation| 10 min

  • Toast the bread in a toaster.
  • Cut the cucumber in half and remove the seeds, then cut it into slices.
  • Wash the salad and drain well
  • Bring some water to the boil, add the quail’s eggs and turn off the heat
  • Leave the eggs to cool in the water for a while.

Prepare| 5 min

  • Spread the bread with ERU Spreadable Gouda.
  • Peel the quail’s eggs and halve them.
  • Arrange the cucumber, salad and quail’s eggs on the bread.
  • Garnish with fresh chervil.
