Appetiser with date and crispy Parma ham
A delight to eat and to prepare: this delicious appetiser with date. Combine the savoury crispy Parma ham and cheese with sweet dates. Ideal before the main course or with an aperitif.

Ingredients
- 200 grams dried dates
- 60 grams ERU Balans
- 20 grams sunflower seeds
- 20 slices of Parma ham
- 20 canape cups

Preparation| 5 min
- Pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
- Pit the dates and chop very finely.
- Mix the dates into the ERU Balans until you have a smooth mousse.
- Toast the sunflower seeds quickly over a low heat.
Method| 10 min
- Fold the slice of Parma ham in half.
- Press it in two again to create a little rose.
- Put each Parma ham rose in a canapé cup.
- Spread a teaspoon of the date mousse on each Parma ham rose.
- Scatter the sunflower seeds over the cups.
- Place the cups on a baking tray.
- Bake the cups in the middle of the oven for around 7 minutes.
- When the Parma ham is crispy, the cups are ready to serve.
